ICAR- NBAIR Hiring. Walk-in-interview will be held at ICAR-National Bureau of Agricultural Insect Resources, Hebbal, Bangalore, to recruit one post of Junior Research Fellow to work project titled “Development of volatile-based lure for key insects pests of commercial tree species teak (Tectonda grandis) and Ailanthus (Ailanthus exelsa and A. tlyphysa)” funded by ICFRE-JFGTB. Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Eligibility: M.Sc organic chemistry with experience in insect chemical ecology or semiochemical may also be considered
Desirable: Knowledge on insect chemical ecology/ tritrophic interactions with hands-on experience on using electroantennogram, Gas chromatography coupled electroantennogram detector
(GCEAD), GCMS and other behavioural equipment.Salary: Rs. 16,000 /- pm (consolidated) +HRA
