- In this Lab Informatics Application Specialist position, you’ll be joining a dynamic and high-achieving sales team responsible for growing the Laboratory Informatics business.

- You will be in this function closely working together with the product specialist and country sales teams in your area of responsibilities.
- You will be responsible for supporting sales within the portfolio of Informatics products including, Networked Chromatography Data Systems, Scientific Data Management Systems, and the Electronic Lab Notebook.
- You will be teamed up with the LI Product Specialist and country sales teams across India and drive the Lab Informatics business together with them.
- The Application Specialist will have a number of primary areas of responsibility.
- First and foremost supporting the sales teams when in-depth technical demos/ pilots of our Lab Informatics portfolio are required in order to win opportunities.
- Translating customers’ requirements into Agilent Lab Informatics vision and solution is critical.
- You will be a key in ensuring customers have full confidence in the Agilent Lab Informatics solution.
- You will also be responsible for supporting & training the Product Specialists and General Sales Teams, developing and maintaining demo images and build demo scripts for specific market segments and the associated laboratory workflows.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Support Important and strategic sales opportunities via in depth Demos and Pilots
- Develop Demo Images and Scripts for specific laboratory workflows and train the LI Product Specialists in this area
- Work closely & cross functionally when required- Evaluate competitive offerings
- Meeting regional sales objectives
- Ability to deal with multiple levels within a customers’ Organization
- Laboratory, management and IT
Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree from an accredited university.
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience for entry to this level, in particular technical knowledge of Agilent Lab Informatics systems.
• Industry knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Chemical and experience of laboratory workflows.
• Knowledge of Software solutions like Chromatography Data Software, Data Management, Electronic Lab Notebook, Laboratory Information Management Systems etc.
• Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently
• Knowledge on FDA 21 CFR Part 11, Computer System Validation, GxP guidelines etc.
• Experience of large enterprise Lab Informatics Sales and managing large scale projects.
• Project Management Experience
• Effective communication skills in English
• Able to Travel extensively.
