The Department of Education in Science and Mathematics (DESM) is a think-tank for Education in Science, Mathematics, Environment and Computer Science at the school stage (Upper Primary to Higher Secondary) and is responsible for carrying out research, development, training, evaluation and extension activities in these areas.
The Department carries out researches related to curriculum design, curriculum transaction, teaching-learning strategies and their impact, in Science, Mathematics, Environmental education and Computer Science at the school stage.

Job Title: Junior Project Fellow

No of Posts: 01

Project title: “A Study of Accessibility of Laboratory for the CWSN in the Higher Secondary Stage (PAC Code 6.04)”

Age limit: Below 40 years

Salary: Rs.16,000/- p.m. consolidated (NET Qualified) and Rs.14,000/- p.m. consolidated (Non-NET)

Qualifications:

Essential: Master’s degree in Physics/Chemistry/Botany/ Zoology/, Education with minimum 55% marks
Desirable:
1) Experience of working in computer software
2) Experience of working on Internet
3) National Eligibility Test (NET)
4) Preference will be given to those having Research Experience in Education or M.Ed.
5) Proficient in usage of English language.

1. The candidates should bring their original certificates alongwith bio-data at the time of interview.
2. Fellowship is temporary with no provision of increment in the amount.

. The candidates already in job should forward their application through their employer.
4. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview or joining the post.
5. The Junior Project Fellow who has already worked in the Council for two and half years are not eligible for the post.
