What is your educational background and how does it relate to this position? Answer: I have an MSc in Chemical Science and have qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the related discipline. My educational background has equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to contribute to this project. Do you have any experience in ocean observations or processing high-resolution ocean data? Answer: Yes, I have experience in both in-situ and remote sensing ocean observations, as well as processing high-resolution ocean data. I have also conducted laboratory analysis and process studies related to ocean observations. What is your experience with programming languages and data analysis software? Answer: I have experience with Python, Matlab, and Fortran, as well as Ferret and ODV for data analysis. I am also familiar with SeaDAS and SNAP for processing satellite data. Have you ever been on a research cruise before? If so, can you tell us about your experience? Answer: Yes, I have been on a research cruise before. During my time on the cruise, I assisted in the collection and analysis of oceanographic and fisheries data. I learned a lot about the various sampling techniques and instruments used in oceanography research. How do you plan to contribute to the research project on CO2 assimilation off the Cochin and Mandapam coast? Answer: I plan to use my knowledge and skills to assist in the processing and analysis of oceanographic and atmospheric data, as well as contribute to the carbon sequestration and primary production measurements. I also have experience in handling GIS software which will be helpful in analyzing and visualizing the data collected.
