Job Details:

Reliance Careers is hiring for Chemical Engineering jobs in the Field Executive jobs role at its Bharuch manufacturing unit. This position focuses on plant operations, equipment monitoring, and safety compliance. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring smooth plant functioning, maintaining equipment

health, and supporting production targets while following strict safety and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Policies, Processes and Procedures –
    • Conduct day to day activities & follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure work is executed consistently and controlled during the shift.
    • Stay updated with leading practices & trends and contribute to identifying continuous improvement in systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Operations & Maintenance –
    • Identify the LLF (Look, Listen and Feel) of equipment to ensure smooth operations; report issues with equipment performance.
    • Monitor field equipment per SOPs, SOCs, and Checklist; maintain HSEF related equipment health and file check sheets.
    • Support the shift superintendent to monitor process parameters; coordinate with maintenance to resolve CP related issues.
    • Perform equipment handover/takeover with maintenance team while adhering to PTW/LOTO procedures and workplace safety management systems.
    • Collect and deliver samples for laboratory testing and perform gas testing like LEL, O2 levels using portable instruments.
    • Record operation details consistently in shift logs; manage inventory of log books, formats/spares, and consumables.
    • Ensure housekeeping by handling hazardous materials, waste segregation, fire & safety equipment upkeep.
    • Act as a first responder to emergencies and be a member of the Auxiliary Fire Squad.
    • Understand rotary machines’ seal systems, lubrication systems of compressors, and significance of various parameters.
    • Know the LO/LC valve status and various instrument field locations.
  • Safety & Risk Assessment –
    • Participate in regular risk assessments and conduct tool box talks prior to job execution to reinforce safe work practices.
    • Execute process-related activities per safety operating procedures to mitigate process failures and reduce accidents, incidents, and injuries.
    • Identify, document, and report near-miss incidents to identify trends and prevent future occurrences of similar incidents.
    • Ensure adherence to latest safety and management guidelines like IMS ISO TQM, OMS, PSM QCC, 5S etc.
    • Ensure adherence to LOTO, N2 gas safety, Line break procedures.

Education Requirement:

  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering

Experience Requirement:

  • Up to 3 years of experience as a field executive in site operations
