The Scientist I- Global NPI Ops is responsible for leading and executing design transfer activities (New product introduction) that align with the business goals and objectives; interfacing and collaborating with cross-functional teams and diverse groups (internal and external customers) to execute the project deliverables. This is an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:

  • Accountable for new process or technology transfer, validations (Process, Test method, Equipment), and utilizing risk assessment tools (FMEA) to assess the risks and implement countermeasures.
  • Lead and execute the continuous improvement projects of varied Operations processes.
  • Create or update operating procedures, Tech transfer documents, train the end users (internal and external), implement processes, BOM preparations, Supplier qualifications, CAPA, drive document and change control management.
  • Support the needs of internal customers with training, investigation, and troubleshooting within the project scope.
  • Effectively communicate with teams, customers, stakeholders, and leadership on project status, progress, risks, and countermeasures.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry or related discipline, with a minimum of 6+ years industrial experience/PhD+1 to 2 years of industrial experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and resourceful, working in a GMP environment, understanding QMS and ISO regulations. Ability to work in a team environment & excellent communication skills. Utilize a data-driven approach to negotiate and align with multiple stakeholders to solve problems (simple & complex), Go-to Gemba mindset.
  • Experienced in handling Organic synthesis reactions, metal catalyst reactions, Dye synthesis and process development.
  • Experience in performing and optimizing C-N and C-C coupling reactions. Having Synthetic organic chemistry and Conjugation chemistry knowledge with good Hands-on experience on HPLC, UPLC, GPC, TFF, Spectrophotometer, Fluorimeter and Automated purification system. Previous experience with polymer chemistry and protein conjugation will be an added advantage.
