Job Description
- Designation: Process Safety Specialist
- Job Location: Mangaluru
- Department: EHSS
- Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in chemical engineering and a Diploma in industrial safety from a reputed institute.
- Experience: in Process Safety
Job Purpose
Experienced in the Safety department for the API Pharmaceutical Manufacturing plant.
Technical skills
- Maintain and update Process Safety Information for all processes.
- Facilitate Process Risk Assessments (PRA)/HAZOP and ensure closure of actions.
- Ensure compliance with PSM standards and local regulations.
- Participate in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews for new/modified processes.
- Deliver process safety and product startup training to operations teams.
- Support EHSS evaluation during the Process for Review stages.
- Review Batch Manufacturing Records for process safety compliance.
- Conduct Industrial Hygiene exposure assessments and recommend controls.
- Perform risk evaluation for Management of Change (MoC) and coordinate reviews.
- Assist in incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
