Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Independently operate and maintain instruments such as UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, IR Spectrometer, HPLC, TLC, Photodocumentation System, and Tiamo System.
- Execute dissolution testing and interpret results with accuracy.
- Troubleshoot analytical issues, especially with HPLC systems.
- Ensure timely planning and execution of QC activities.
- Escalate issues to stakeholders promptly to avoid delays.
- Perform precise data calculations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Comply with GMP, GLP, and regulatory standards.
- Support method development, validation, audits, and inspections.
- Conduct sampling, labeling, and verification of equipment and instruments.
- Interpret data for accuracy, trends, and potential cGMP impact.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), analytical methods, and related documents.
- Manage data entry, review, and approvals in computerized databases, generating EMS reports.
- Contribute to complex projects while managing time effectively and collaborating with supervisors and team members.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in HPLC troubleshooting and data interpretation.
- Proficiency with UV, IR, TLC, Photodocumentation, and Tiamo systems.
- Knowledge of dissolution techniques and applications.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and collaborate effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience, or a High School diploma with 6 years of experience.
- Technical skills in method validation and testing.
- Ability to read compendial methods, SOPs, technical procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and policies.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in QC instruments for sample and retention management.
Preferred Requirements (Bonus Points)
- Experience with laboratory work, particularly HPLC techniques.
- Proven record in continuous improvement projects.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma, and statistical analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new techniques.
