Job Description

The Specification Management Analyst will support global specification management by creating

, updating, and maintaining ingredient, formula, and packaging specifications. This PepsiCo Chemical Engineering Job involves ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards, validating specification parameters, and managing supplier documentation. The selected candidate will collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Product Development teams while handling documentation uploads in Product Vision and SAP systems. The role also includes workflow tracking, supplier coordination, and escalation of critical issues to prevent supply disruptions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ingredient, formula, and packaging specifications.
  • Support supplier qualification and commercial approval processes.
  • Coordinate with R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Product Development teams.
  • Manage supplier relationships and collect specification data.
  • Validate specification quality parameters.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and packaging standards.
  • Upload documentation into Product Vision and SAP systems.
  • Track workflows and ensure completion within defined SLAs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Food Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering, or equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, QA/QC, Food Analytical, Food Manufacturing, FMCG, or related technical roles. Depending on business requirements, this position may also be filled by an existing intern.
