- Post: Junior Research Fellow
- Salary: Rs. 37,000 per month + HRA (16%) for the JRF Position
- Duration: 1 year (with possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance)
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Chemistry with a strong academic record, with or without a valid GATE/NET qualification, or a PhD in Chemistry.
- Experience: 1–5 years of research experience in organochalcogen chemistry.
- Eligibility: Research experience in the synthesis of organochalcogen compounds, preparation of precursors, and organic synthesis is preferred.
- End Date: 25 October 2025
About the Project
The SERB EMR project is titled “Hexavalent Organoseleniums: Late Main Group Catalysts for the Activation of Small Molecules and Asymmetric Transformations.” This project focuses on the synthesis and application of organoselenium compounds in catalytic transformations. Candidates will gain practical experience in organic and organochalcogen chemistry, making this an excellent opportunity for both MSc Chemistry Jobs and PhD Chemistry Jobs.
