About the Company:
St. John’s Research Institute is conducting a three-arm randomized controlled trial to assess the effectiveness of Omega-3 supplements and Ibuprofen in improving muscle protein fractional synthesis rate among patients with pulmonary TB in South India. The study aims to address cachexia among patients with TB through anti-inflammatory strategies.

Brief Description about the Project:
A three-arm randomized controlled trial to assess the effectiveness of Omega 3 supplements and Ibuprofen in improving muscle protein fractional synthesis rate among patients with pulmonary TB on anti-tubercular treatment and food supplements against the standard of care in South India. The study will focus on anti-inflammatory strategies to overcome cachexia among patients with TB.
