Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd is hiring an Executive / Sr. Executive in Process Engineering for API R&D in Baroda. This role focuses on scaling up chemical processes, evaluating raw materials and plant requirements, and ensuring safe, efficient process execution. Ideal for B.Tech Chemical graduates with 2–6 years of experience in process development, technology transfer, and unit operations.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include evaluating raw materials, products, and by-products for safe handling, storage, and disposal; identifying hardware requirements for commercial-scale production using lab, kilo lab, or pilot plant data; selecting and proposing plant facility modifications; and executing or troubleshooting commercial plant batches as per process requirements.
Key technical competencies include a strong understanding of chemical engineering unit operations, process development, internal SOPs of API R&D & AD/QC/RA, and experience with technology transfer activities. Behavioral competencies include project management, effective communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Tech Chemical
- 2–6 years of experience in process engineering or API R&D
