Role Description:
This is a contractual role designed for candidates passionate about research and innovation. As a Research Associate, you will:
- Carry out research and experimentation work related to projects.
- Support researchers in product and process research.
- Manage raw materials and laboratory operations.
- Conduct literature surveys and perform experimentation.
- Characterize raw materials and products.
- Assist in drafting reports, journal papers, patents, and short notes.
- Participate in lab-scale, pilot-scale, and plant-scale trials.
- Maintain accurate records of results in both soft and hard copies.
- Track consumables and contingencies required for smooth operations.
- Collaborate with in-house and external labs like CRMT and RAC for effective experimentation.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Technical writing skills for patents and papers.
- Understanding of data analysis using Excel (scatter plot, box plot, standard deviations).
- Basic knowledge of mass balance.
- Ability to coordinate with research labs for seamless project execution.
Educational Qualification:
B.Tech/M.Sc/M.Tech/Ph.D. in Metallurgy, Chemical, Mineral Engineering, or Mechanical.
