Job Summary
The Production Chemist will execute chemical processes in a pilot plant environment, following approved BPR, SOPs, and safety guidelines. The role includes shift planning, utility readiness, documentation, and ensuring production targets are met with high quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Process & Compliance: Execute operations per approved BPR, SOPs, and safety standards, maintaining compliance with IMS, RC, and cGMP.
- Shift & Resource Management: Plan and assign workloads, ensure availability of utilities like steam, DM water, and nitrogen before startup.
- Production & Quality: Meet production targets, ensure yield and quality standards, verify BPR entries, and maintain logbooks.
- Safety & Training: Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment, manage safety permits, and uphold zero-tolerance compliance standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.Sc./M.Sc./Diploma in Chemical Science
- 1–3 years’ work experience in chemical operations
- Knowledge of basic chemistry concepts and plant operations
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality standards
