About Huntsman Corporation:
Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a Quality Control & Quality Assurance Specialist. As part of the Huntsman Polyurethanes function, you will ensure that manufactured Products are meeting business needs, quality standards, and customer expectations. You will check and evaluate incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products according to specifications. In addition, you will support in new raw material development, quality confirmation, and testing of RM on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be located in Chakan, Pune.
- Ensure that manufactured Products are meeting business needs, quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Check and evaluate incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products according to specifications.
- Support in new raw material development, quality confirmation, and testing of RM on a regular basis.
- Knowledge to handle instruments like GC (Gas Chromatography), Karl Fischer, titration, Brookfield viscometer, etc. and testing methods.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment according to QA specifications.
- Ensure adherence to quality standard, implement the quality control system, and reduce rejection level and rework.
- Support to resolve customer complaints by analyzing the reference sample and submit a report.
- Conduct rejection analysis & implementing/suggesting improvements for reducing rejections.
- Ensure compliance with the Huntsman Ethics and Compliance policies.
- Quality control of work by appropriate reviews.
Requirements for Quality Assurance & Quality Control Specialist:
- B.E (Chemical/ Polymer) or M. Sc Chemistry with 4 to 6 years of work experience.
- Experience in Polyurethane chemistry would be an added advantage.
- Experience in relevant fields such as Chemical Industry, pharmaceutical, Food, Oil, etc.
- Strong organizational skills and experience.
