Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow in the DSTSERB-SURE Research Project entitled “Design and synthesis of new amphiphatic cyclopeptides, study of their antimicrobial activity and antibiotic synergy” under the joint supervision of Dr. Deepak B. Salunke, Department of Chemistry (Principal Investigator) and Dr. Rachna Singh (Co-Principal Investigator), Assistant Professor, Department of Microbial Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Essential Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) (preferably in Organic Chemistry) with qualification in the National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE.
- Preference will be given to the candidates with research experience in academia, industry or master research project.
Fellowship:
Monthly emoluments of the fellowship shall be as per DST norms, the duration of the fellowship is for the period of one year and can be extended further based on the performance of the candidate.
Selection process:
Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview in the office of the Chairperson, Department of Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
