Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a QC Chemist / Sr. Chemist with 1-4 years of experience in API/Formulation. The role is located in Baddi,(H.P.) As a QC Chemist / Sr. Chemist, you will be responsible for quality control of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, as well as the preparation of documents like SOPs, STPs, BMRs, and analytical reports. You will also be responsible for analytical method development and validation, instrumental analysis, and preparation of quality records and documents.
As a QC chemist, you will be responsible for:
- Working in QC department in all shifts and as per requirement
- Calibrating and maintaining instruments such as pH meter, HSGC, and HPLC
- Analyzing finished goods, stability samples, and control samples
- Following GMP and ethical standards
- Handling and storing working standards, reagents, chemicals, and gas cylinders
- Sampling, testing, and releasing raw materials and packaging materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in API Quality Control
- Experience in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques like HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, and dissolution apparatus is required
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Knowledge of stability studies and stability study protocols is preferred
- Advanced computer skills and experience with analytical software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
