SRM University – AP invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow to carry out the research project entitled “Simulating Photophysics and Photochemistry on Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum Computers”, (SUR/2022/001766), sponsored under State University Research Excellence (SERB SURE), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Eligibility:
M.Sc. in Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent CGPA.
Preferable:
NET (LS/JRF) or GATE qualified in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry
(OR)
GATE qualified in CSE/EEE
Good working knowledge in C++ and Python as well as in algorithm design and development is mandatory, knowledge of quantum mechanics or quantum chemistry is also desirable.
Fellowship: ₹ 31,000/- p.m. + HRA as per SERB Norms
Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidates can register for the full-time Ph.D. program at the SRM University-AP. Tuition Fee is fully waived.
