Applications are invited in the prescribed format (Annexure-1) for the position of Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) (01 no.) on purely contractual (01no.) basis to work in the externally
funded (DBT, Govt. of India) research project
Project Title: “Use of non-toxic nanoformulations for prolonging shelf life and reduction of post-harvest loss of mandarin orange of North East India”. The position is coterminous to the project.

Eligbility Criteria:
Master degree in Chemical Engineering/ Post Harvest Management with minimum 60% scores.
- 1-Year work experience in Nano-biotechnological areas including synthesis of nanomaterials, nano emulsions, bioactive nano-formulations and nanocoatings, packaging, shelf life extension of fruits and vegetables, and post-harvest management is highly desirable for this position. (Ph.D. would be an added advantage)

ximum 35 years for female and Applicants with a valid certificate of SC/ST/OBC as per Government rules).Fellowship per month
Rs. 31000/- + HRA (@8%) – HRA would be deducted if hostel/campus
accommodation is availed
