Project Title: ‘Investigation on the effectiveness of eggshell bio-waste for multistage water purification’
Work description
(i) Synthesis and characterization of porous covalent organic frameworks (COFs);
(ii) Application of COFs and eggshell biowaste for the removal of heavy metal water contaminant;
(iii) Exploring removal efficiency of a prototype portable water purifier packed with
COFs and eggshell biowaste;
(iv) Investigation on the effectiveness of eggshell biowaste over the charcoal filter in a multi-stage water purification

Qualifications : 60% in M.Sc. (Chemistry/Applied Chemistry) / M. Tech. (Materials
Science/Materials science & Technology) from a recognized
University/Institutes or Equivalent
Job Title: Project Associate
Age limit: 35 years
Fellowship (consolidated) : Rs. 31,000 /month for NET/GATE qualified candidates
Rs. 25,000 /month for non – NET/GATE qualified candidates
Duration: 24 months (Start date 12/10/2022)
