Job Description
- Supervision of day to day functioning of General Stores, Main Pharmacy stores, IP Pharmacy, OP Pharmacy and Purchase departments..
- Processing of all Capital purchases through proper approvals and sanctions.
- Organising and coordinating for Purchase Committee meetings.
- Minimising the mismatch between System stock and Physical stock by reducing pilferages, dispensing errors and conducting regular departmental stock audits.
- Minimizing the procurement cost of consumables by putting continuous efforts for reducing the cost of consumables procured through – rate negotiations, brand
- substitutions, shortening the channel of procurement, going for rate contracts etc.
- Preparing various MIS reports required for analysing the functioning of the department.
