Applications are invited for the position of Scientific Officers (SO) to work in Nanotechnology Research Centre (NRC), SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, Chennai, India.
Job Title: Scientific Officers
Eligibility: M.Sc/M.Tech/Ph.D in Physics/chemistry/Materials Science and Engineering/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology.
Experience: Hands-on-experience in any one of the following characterization techniques
(ii) X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)
(iii) Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM)
(iv) X-ray diffractometer (XRD)
(v) Atomic force microscope (AFM)
(vi) UV-vis spectrometer
(vii) FTIR (vii) GCMS
(viii) Thermal conductivity & Seebeck coefficient measurement system
Desirable: Several years of experience in operating the aforesaid techniques
Salary: Commensurate with experience and educational qualifications
