Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work in a Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi sponsored Project entitled “Development of novel intramolecular glycoside Bond Formation methodology and their  Applications” (Project code: P-25/370) sanctioned for a period of three years. The tenure of the fellowship will be co-terminus with the scheme and the stipend payable will be as per rules of CSIR, New Delhi.

Eligibility: Candidates should be M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field (with 55°/o and above) and have qualified NET or GATE. The upper age limit is 28 years for JRF and 31 years for SRF (relaxable for Sc?/ST/ · /Female/Physically handicapped/ _OBC candidates as per CSIR rule). All thing equal SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

Desirable qualifications, for JRF

: Specialization in Organic Chemistry and have interest or experience in Organic Synthesis and for SRF: Two years experience in Organic Synthesis/ Synthetic Carbohydrate Chemistry.
