To promote R&D in the field of pulp & paper, a National level Institute was established in 1980 as an autonomous body under the administrative control of Dept. of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Industry, Govt. of India.

Job Title: Jr.Research Fellow

Project Title: Environmental monitoring, Charter Compliance Report preparation and hazardous waste audit-Sponsored project
Salary: 25000/- p.m. consolidated + HRA as per Institute rule
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. (Chemistry)
- Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in R&D related to environmental management in pulp & paper.

General Terms and Conditions:
- Number of posts as mentioned above can be increased or decreased as per requirement of the Institute.
- The period of experience in a discipline/area of work, wherever prescribed shall be counted with effect from the date of acquiring the prescribed minimum educational qualifications for the post.
- Mere fulfilling the criteria of qualification & experience does not confer any right for selection of the candidate. Institute may fix-up any criteria for short-listing the candidates depending upon the number of incumbents walked in for the interview.
- The Selection Committee(s) may adopt the selection criterion at its own i.e. either by conducting direct interview or written test followed by interview on the same day.
- Age: Council of Association (COA) of CPPRI has approved DST guidelines No.A20020/11/97-IFD dated August 6, 2007 and IIT Delhi guidelines for sponsored research projects and consultancy jobs dated April 2009. Accordingly the age criterion is not However suitable candidates having required qualification and experience will be considered as per project requirement.
- The decision of the Director, CPPRI shall be final for engagement of the above mentioned purely temporary positions.
- All/any corrigendum/addendum with regards to this advertisement, if any will be notified only on the Institute website. Therefore the aspiring incumbents are advised to be in touch with the Institute website.
- The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project. There will be no right implicit or explicit for regular position or any post in CPPRI whatsoever.
- The date of interview is fixed as per guidelines approved by COA, having minimum period of five working days between date of advertisement and date of Interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post. NOTE: Result awaited candidates are not eligible for interview
