Job Overview
As part of Takeda’s Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) team, this Executive Job offers exposure to advanced API manufacturing operations, batch planning, SAP-driven production control, and cGMP-compliant processes. Professionals in Manufacturing Jobs at Takeda play a critical role in ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of active pharmaceutical ingredients that impact patients worldwide.
Job Responsibilities
Plan batches as per monthly production schedules, allocate work across shifts, and supervise shop floor activities in compliance with BMR.
Ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials by raising SAP requests, verifying quantities, and maintaining yield and quality.
Prepare, update, and maintain BMR, BPR, cleaning records, equipment logs, SOPs, and submit documentation to QA on time.
Coordinate with Engineering, IPQC, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth plant operations and verify in-process sample results.
Manage SAP entries for running batches, including creation and tracking of purchase requisitions.
Report process deviations, initiate change controls, and supervise hazardous waste disposal as per compliance requirements.
Enforce safety protocols, maintain PPE inventory, and report incidents or accidents to the plant in charge.
Raise and follow up on work permits for maintenance activities and ensure safe plant operations during weekends and holidays.
Approve leave, shift changes, and overtime for production staff and conduct training on production processes, cGMP, and safety.
Support ISO/GMP and stock audits, EHS management systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001), and maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards in the plant.
