Job Overview
As part of Takeda’s Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) team, this Executive Job offers exposure to advanced API manufacturing operations, batch planning, SAP-driven production control, and cGMP-compliant processes. Job Responsibilities
- Plan batches as per monthly production schedules, allocate work across shifts, and supervise shop floor activities in compliance with BMR.
- Ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials by raising SAP requests, verifying quantities, and maintaining yield and quality.
- Prepare, update, and maintain BMR, BPR, cleaning records, equipment logs, SOPs, and submit documentation to QA on time.
- Coordinate with Engineering, IPQC, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth plant operations and verify in-process sample results.
- Manage SAP entries for running batches, including creation and tracking of purchase requisitions.
- Report process deviations, initiate change controls, and supervise hazardous waste disposal as per compliance requirements.
- Enforce safety protocols, maintain PPE inventory, and report incidents or accidents to the plant in charge.
- Raise and follow up on work permits for maintenance activities and ensure safe plant operations during weekends and holidays.
- Approve leave, shift changes, and overtime for production staff and conduct training on production processes, cGMP, and safety.
- Support ISO/GMP and stock audits, EHS management systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001), and maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards in the plant.
