Job Details

  • Job Post: Scientist II, RSL
  • Location: Hyderabad, IND
  • Qualifications: Master’s degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy.
  • Experience: 3–6 years of laboratory experience, preferably with APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all testing and data analysis with precision and accuracy.
  • Support Verification, GPH, PQM, stability, and other departmental teams.
  • Maintain sample archives, track samples, and manage chemical inventory.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to complete assigned projects on time.
  • Troubleshoot scientific issues and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Perform calibration and IQ/OQ/PQ of laboratory instruments.
  • Ensure availability of chemicals, columns, and other lab resources.
  • Follow GLP regulations and maintain lab safety.
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Requriements

  • Expertise in chromatographic analysis (HPLC) and other analytical instruments.
  • Skilled in Water determination, Loss on drying, Residue on Ignition, Titrations, UV/IR spectroscopy.
  • Knowledge of USP compendia, ICH guidelines, and FDA regulations.
  • Proficiency in Empower software, including audit trails and custom fields.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of GLP, QMS, ISO/IEC 17025, and exposure to regulatory audits.

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience with GC, thermal analysis, elemental analysis, and mass analyzers.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN), ERP systems, and QR coding.
  • High-volume pharmaceutical QC, Analytical R&D, or contract lab experience is a plus.
  • Ability to embrace and lead change with adaptability and resilience.
