Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scientist in Process Engineering – Inhalation/Injectable to design and develop formulation processes. The role requires ensuring the implementation of Quality by Design (QbD), scaling up for manufacturing batches, overseeing plant execution, coordinating technology transfers, and providing overall manufacturing readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver inhalation/injectable and related products by combining formulation development and process understanding.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure plant readiness and the execution of trials.
- Apply expertise in dosage form, QbD, and process development.
- Analyze material characteristics and design validation experiments for formulation prototypes.
- Work with R&D teams to optimize scalability, operability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and review technology transfer documents, safety reports, trial documents, and validation records.
- Ensure plant preparedness, troubleshoot process issues, and monitor experiments at vendor sites to optimize performance.
Educational Qualification
M.Tech in Chemical Engineering
Experience and Skills
- 3–8 years in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in injectable products.
- Expertise in inhalation/injectable dosage form development.
- Hands-on experience in generic injectable product development.
- Proficiency in QbD, process optimization, scale-up, GMP, and GLP.
- Strong knowledge of technology transfer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with cross-functional collaboration skills.
