Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the appointment of Research Associate-I (RAI) in the School of Materials Sciences, IACS through e-mail. The deadline of receiving applications is 28.01.2023. Interview will be on 30.01.2023 through online mode.
Job Title: Research Associate-I
Number of posts: One (01)
Research area: Fabrication & characterization of thin films/2D materials
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry
Science or related field with relevant research experience from a recognized University or Institute. Candidate should have B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science with at least 55 % of marks.
Desirable qualifications: Candidate must have expertise in the synthesis of two-dimensional materials and growth of thin film of 2D materials.
Tenure of Fellowship: Initial appointment will be done for six months, which is subjected to extend up to 1 year based on the candidate’s performance review and position availability. The position is purely temporary.
Fellowship: As per rule of the IACS.
Selection procedure: Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of merit. Only shortlisted
