Application are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of for Senior Research Fellow
Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Number of Vacancy: 01
Project Title: Design and Synthesis of Novel Coumarin-pyridine/ quinolone quinazoline hybrids as Angiogenesis Inhibitors Targeting VEGFR-2 TKD against tumor microenvironment
Department: Department of Chemistry and Department of Zoology
Project tenure: 2 years or till the completion of the project.
Job Description: The candidate must perform Research and Development related tasks for the above mentioned project title.
Essential Qualification:
As per CSIR guidelines for Research Schemes/Sponsored Schemes: CSIR RDG website: www.csirbrde.res.in
A M.Sc degree in Chemistry/Zoology or an equivalent degree and at least two years of post-M. Sc research experience as evidenced from the published papers in standard referred journals
Age Limit: 32 years
Age relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging lo scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates
Fellowship: Rs 42000,- p.m. + HRA as per CSIR-HRDG norms.
Desirable qualification: Basic knowledge of synthesis of organic compounds and characterization, as well as basic knowledge of cell culture and in-silico tools.
