- Name of Project: “Exploring novel p-type transparent conducting materials (p-TCMs) for efficient optoelectronic applications.”
- Name of Sponsoring Agency: Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India
- Duration of the Position: 05 years, appointment will be on a contractual basis for one year, extendable annually based on performance, up to the duration of the project (maximum five years).
- Fellowship / Monthly Compensation: 25,000 per month (consolidated) (as per project manpower provision)
- Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemistry / Materials Science or Nanoscience/Nanotechnology with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. OR B.Tech./M.Tech. in: Materials Science / Nanotechnology / Chemical Engineering / Electronics or related discipline with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in any of the following:
- Thin-film deposition (spin coating, evaporation, etc.).
- Materials synthesis.
- Semiconductor or optoelectronic materials.
- Characterization techniques (XRD, UV-Vis, SEM, electrical measurements).
Additional Information
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Mandatory for the selected candidate to register for a PhD program at Amity University as per university rules.
