Essential Qualifications:

  • M. Sc. Chemistry (13 Nos)
  • M. Sc. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Botany (2 Nos)
  • B.E./B. Tech. Mechanical/Chemical/Production/Automobile engineering or equivalent (2 Nos)

Desirable Experience: Candidates having theoretical or practical knowledge in the respective area would be preferred.

Job Description:

The selected candidates will have to work on CSIR-RDSF sponsored Projects. The candidate will be engaged to work on the synthesis of various materials, handling of chemical reactions, and analysis of chemical samples (Chemistry posts), preparation of various plant/algal samples, extraction, and analysis (Biology posts), handling processes development, scale-up, and different equipment (Engineering posts).

Monthly Emoluments & Upper Age Limit:

  • 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET, including lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE, or those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions.
  • 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above.
  • Upper Age Limit (in years): 35 years as on 3/04/2026

Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

Duration: These positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. It would not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for any candidate to claim absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI.
