Title: Associate Analyst- Supplier Compliance
Role Summary/Purpose
Are you ready to drive global impact by ensuring the sustainability and ethical standards of the products we use every day? In this role, you will be
influencing Colgate-Palmolive’s responsible sourcing agenda by owning the execution of critical compliance programs—from Deforestation and Climate Action to Human Rights audits. You will work directly with global procurement leaders and suppliers to manage complex data, validate compliance, and develop data-driven insights that protect our reputation and our planet. This position is based in Mumbai.Responsibilities
- Validate environmental and ethical claims to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Accurately manage essential data and documentation for evaluation processes.
- Continuously learn and adopt the latest methodologies to enhance practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data.
- Communicate with suppliers and stakeholders to collect compliance documents.
- Assess supplier adherence to applicable compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field, Biochemistry
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience in Procurement, Supplier Compliance, Supply Chain, or Sustainability data management.
- Technical Proficiency: Good proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Excel; comfortable learning specialized platforms (e.g., SAP, Sedex, Alchemer).
- Data Skills: Ability to manage large datasets with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry or familiarity with Responsible Sourcing standards (SMETA, EcoVadis).
- Automation Skills: Experience with Google AppScript, Python, or Looker Studio to drive process automation and reporting efficiency.
- Soft Skills: Strong foundation in environmental science or related field, with a passion for sustainability.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of raw materials and their environmental, health, and safety profiles.
- Understanding of company-specific data systems is advantageous.
- Openness to new technologies and methodologies in EHS.
