Job Title: Process Research Scientist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Research Scientist with a PhD in Chemical Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction materials industry and a strong background in process scale-up. This role involves scaling up processes, working closely with process teams, and traveling frequently within India and abroad.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with process teams to scale up production processes and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Apply expertise in core process scale-up topics to drive improvements and innovations.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Scale up new product and process in plants.
- Utilize statistical methods to analyze process data and enhance performance.
- Ensure safety communication and protocols are adhered to globally.
- Animate collaboration with process teams to foster a productive and innovative environment.
- Demonstrate agility in adapting to new challenges and environments.
- Travel frequently to various locations, including international travel, to oversee and support plant operations.
- Spend significant time on-site at manufacturing plants to ensure smooth process implementation and operation.
Qualifications
- PhD / ME MTECH in Chemical Engineering/ Material Science.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in the construction materials industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of process scale-up and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently and spend time at plant locations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the construction materials space.
- Familiarity with process engineering software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
