Project Title Exploring texture randomization mechanisms in non-rare earth
magnesium alloys
Department Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science
Project Tenure 03 years and/or co-terminus with the project. (The selected
candidate will be encouraged to register for the Ph.D. program
at IIT Indore as per institute norms)
Job Description Deformation, Recrystallization and Phase transformation
behaviour in magnesium alloys will be studied by employing Xray diffraction, SEM-EBSD and TEM/STEM imaging techniques.
Essential Qualification B. Pharm or equivalent degree, with at least
55% marks and passing of NET-LS/GATE test (Pl. refer to CSIRHRDG website: www.csirhrdg.res.in)
Age Limit JRF -28Yrs.
Age relaxation The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of
candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women
and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship Junior Research Fellowship (JRF):
Rs. 31,000/- p.m. (First & Second years)
Rs. 35000/- p.m. (3rd year upon upgradation)
Desirable: Candidates having the basic knowledge on Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Condensed
Matter Physics (Solid State Physics) and Materials Science & Engineering topics will be preferred.
