- Essential Qualification:
- PhD in Natural Product Chemistry/Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical Sciences/Chemistry or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience (Post PhD) of at least 3 years working with isolation and characterization of natural products.
- Age Limit: Up to 40 years (relaxable as per rules)
- Desirable Qualification: Experience in quality systems (e.g., NABL/GLP/GMP), HRMS handling, SOP writing, and publications in reputed journals.
Tenure
Initially for up to one year (extendable as per norms). The approved duration of the project is 5 years. Extension may be granted after review of the work done. However, the position is terminus at any point in time.

General Terms and Conditions
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer/Ph.D. supervisor at the time of the interview.
- Since the project position(s) is/are temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment at IASST or continuation of their services in any other project.
- The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason(s), and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
- The engagement can be terminated with one month’s notice from either side without assigning any reason.
- Only selected candidates will be informed via mail/postal service, and the list of selected and waitlist candidates may be displayed on the website.
- The recruited project staff is eligible for leave as per IASST project staff recruitment guidelines and will have to give the undertakings before joining.
- Experience certificate should clearly state the nature of work during the period of employment with dates. Experience in the relevant discipline/field should be from a reputable institution/organization recognized by the relevant authority.
- Merely fulfilling the essential qualification/experience will not bestow any guarantee of selection.
- Selection criteria will be based on academic qualification, experience, and performance in the interview.
- Since the project position is purely on a temporary basis, no benefits of Provident Fund, Leave Travel Concession, etc. will be available to the appointee.
