About the Role

Simson Labs is hiring freshers and early-career researchers for its R&D division. The role involves synthesis, analysis, and development activities in a chemistry-based research environment. Candidates should have strong fundamental knowledge and willingness to work in a lab-intensive role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform organic synthesis experiments as guided by senior chemists
• Execute reactions on milligram to gram scale
• Conduct multi-step synthesis and purification
• Handle analytical techniques (TLC, IR, NMR, LCMS—training will be provided)
• Maintain experiment records, lab notebooks, and documentation
• Support method development and process optimization activities
• Follow safety protocols, SOPs, and R&D guidelines

Required Qualification

• M.Sc. Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / General Chemistry
• Strong theoretical understanding of organic chemistry & reaction mechanisms

Skills Required

• Ability to perform chemical reactions independently or under guidance
• Knowledge of purification techniques (crystallization, column chromatography, flash chromatography)
• Basic knowledge of interpreting MASS, IR, NMR data
• Good written and verbal communication
• Strong willingness to learn and work in R&D environment

Salary Details

For Freshers:

• CTC: ₹2.16 LPA
• Gross Salary: ₹18,000 per month
• In-hand Salary: ₹13,775 per month
• Bond: 3 Years (mandatory)

For Experienced (Up to 3 Years):

• Salary negotiable based on previous CTC
• Bond: 2 Years
