Job Description
As a Technologist at the Color Academy, you will work towards skilling painting influencers by ensuring high-quality training delivery and preparing them for professional painting practices. This role involves managing training sessions, capturing market practices, and improving overall training delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Quality Management & Market Practices: Conduct post-training interviews and site visits, gather feedback, and work with the BM – Training Content team to improve training delivery. Perform monthly CUSP (customer usage and practices) visits and update the U&A portal.
- Training Delivery & Capability Building: Deliver training as per guidelines, regularly evaluate TA/helper painter capabilities, and train them.
- Participant Management & Tracking: Profile participants to enable structured training.
- CA Management: Commercial & Infrastructure: Implement systems to improve infrastructure, ensure timely expense reporting, and submit monthly reports (Training Tracker, Stock Management formats, etc.).
- Support/Training to New Trainers/Technologists: Provide onboarding, share reading material (product details, technical data sheets, safety manuals), arrange workshops, and demonstrate training modules.
- Market Understanding/Data Capturing: Capture market practices regularly and share with the HO team for analysis.
Qualifications
- B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry with minimum 50% marks in graduation or Diploma in Paint Technology (VJIT/Garware Institute)
- Knowledge of English and good communication skills
- 0–1 years of relevant experience in technical paints
- (Note: Engineering/MBAs are not eligible for this role)
