Job Description
As an Executive – Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for managing and organizing laboratory operations within your section, ensuring analytical accuracy, reliability, and compliance with ISO 17025 standards and Nestlé Quality Systems. You will oversee first-line supervision of laboratory personnel, validate results, drive continuous improvement, and ensure timely responses to all customer and stakeholder queries while maintaining safety and quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage laboratory operations, team performance, KPIs, and safety regulations.
- Oversee analytical results reporting, prioritization, and allocation of work.
- Handle troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
- Plan with factories/divisions to optimize resources and evaluate new methodologies.
- Implement continuous improvement via NCE methodology and root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with the ISO/IEC 17025 and Nestlé Quality System standards.
- Conduct method validations, MU calculations, SOP updates, and GLP audits.
- Manage LIMS (SAP) operations, QC codes, result transfers, and software upkeep.
- Ensure on-time analysis, reporting, method modifications, and equipment calibration.
- Maintain impartiality, confidentiality, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- University graduate or equivalent in Chemistry or Microbiology.
- Demonstrated analytical background or laboratory exposure.
- Knowledge of ISO-17025 standards and Nestlé Method Validation/Verification guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, LC-MS/MS, UPLC, Spectrophotometer, especially for Vitamins & Aflatoxins.
- Familiarity with SAP LIMS and related systems.
- Strong team leadership, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
