Job Description
The PAD Engineer will be responsible for developing masterbatch products across multiple applications, including packaging, consumer goods, electronics, agriculture, and industrial use. The role requires expertise in polymer science, chemistry, and product development processes to meet customer requirements and ensure business profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with corporate standards.
- Conduct masterbatch development aligned with the Accolade stage-gate process and SOPs.
- Support product development, localization, and scale-up monitoring.
- Carry out new product development projects and troubleshoot quality issues.
- Perform analysis on trial samples and prepare benchmark reports on competitor products.
- Support formula modifications and raw material evaluations.
- Maintain retained samples, laboratory cleanliness, and R&D traceability records.
- Provide technical documentation to support new products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Material Science.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Basic knowledge of ISO9001.
- Strong understanding of polymer/plastics extrusion, analytical chemistry, and packaging applications.
- Skills in lab instrumentation, data analysis, and technical reporting.
- Proficiency in English and the local language.
