Job Description
The Postdoctoral Fellow will engage in advanced research exploring the structure–property relationships in conducting polymer composites, with applications in microwave absorption, piezoelectric devices, and triboelectric nanogenerators. The role will be conducted under the guidance of Dr. B. T. S. Ramanujam, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Amrita School of Physical Sciences, Coimbatore.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research on conducting polymer composites.
- Apply electrospinning techniques in experimental work.
- Optionally utilize simulation tools or density functional theory (DFT) calculations.
- Publish research findings in high-impact scientific journals.
- Collaborate with the research team and mentor junior researchers if required.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, or Chemistry with a focus on polymers or polymer nanocomposites.
- Proven record of scientific publications in the relevant field.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in electrospinning techniques (mandatory).
- Experience with simulation tools or DFT calculations (advantageous but not mandatory).
