Job Description:
The candidate will be required to work in the laboratory focused on understanding the flow properties of a variety of soft materials such as suspensions, emulsions, and hydrogels. The candidate should have an excellent grip on mathematics and should be familiar with chemical engineering topics, especially thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. He/she should be a highly motivated, continuous learner who can work independently.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Work in the laboratory focusing on understanding the flow properties of soft materials such as suspensions, emulsions, and hydrogels.
- Requires an excellent grip on mathematics and good familiarity with chemical engineering topics.
- Be a highly motivated, continuous learner who can work independently.
Essential Qualification: B.S. or B.Tech 4-year program Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering or related disciplines, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.
Age Limit: JRF- 28 years upper limit
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 37000 per month as per CSIR norms
