- Qualification: M.Sc (Industrial / Organic chemistry)
- Experience required: 3 to 6 years
- Role: Research Associate

Responsibilities:

Ensure training is acquired before executing activities or operating equipment, as per TNI.

Follow all entry and exit protocols for chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing blocks for Chemistry Job.

Perform process operations strictly in accordance with BMR.
-
Clean equipment per SOP, procedure, and PCR.
-
Maintain cGMP compliance in all plant operations.
-
Operate with complete adherence to safety protocols.
-
Coordinate with shift teams for handover and status updates of ongoing operations.
-
Verify status of equipment and update activity logbooks accordingly.
-
Maintain housekeeping and sanitation across areas.
-
Conduct regular cGMP and safety talks within the department.
-
Verify materials (raw, packing, intermediates) issued by the warehouse.
-
Segregate materials properly in designated storage areas.
-
Update equipment/area status boards post-operations for Chemistry Job.
-
Verify visual cleanliness of equipment before operations.
-
Operate various equipment including reactors, filtration units, dryers, and powder processing tools.
-
Charge/discharge materials as per BMR.
-
Sample intermediates and send to QC for analysis.
-
Pack and label intermediates, drug intermediates, and drug substances.
-
Operate utility systems based on operational needs.
-
Calibrate/verify instruments like pH meters and weighing balances.
-
Ensure timely preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment.
-
Oversee general and breakdown maintenance under permit systems.
-
Document and dispose of solid/liquid waste per compliance.
-
Complete performance qualification and equipment verification tasks.
-
Prepare batch manufacturing and cleaning records as per process development reports.
-
Create Bills of Materials and process orders in SAP.
-
Prepare material requisition slips for raw and packing materials.
-
Get BMR and cleaning records issued by QA as per schedule.
-
Perform online batch record filling during execution.
-
Record all activities in respective logbooks for Chemistry Job.

Review and submit completed batch records to QA for MSc Chemistry Job Opportunity.

Address QA observations in the records promptly.
-
Verify equipment and areas before line/area clearance and witness clearances.
-
Generate and affix in-process and status labels as per procedures.
-
Report final output (yield) in SAP.
-
Log maintenance, breakdown, and calibration activities in SAP.
-
Comply with all cGMP and safety regulations.
-
Train subordinates on SOPs and batch records.
-
Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits for Chemistry Job.
-
Take on any HOD-assigned tasks post relevant training.
-
Escalate issues regarding discipline, manpower, hygiene, contamination, equipment malfunction, safety, or quality risks to appropriate levels.
