Job Purpose:
To perform sampling, analysis, documentation, and stability studies of pharmaceutical materials and products as per Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards, ensuring timely product release and quality compliance.
QC Job at Cipla – Key Responsibilities:
- Sample Analysis: Use validated procedures to analyze raw materials (RM), packing materials (PM), finished products (FP), water samples, and stability studies.
- Instrument Handling: Operate calibrated analytical instruments and follow safety norms as per SOPs.
- Documentation: Ensure real-time, error-free documentation using LIMS, CipDox, and approved templates.
- Compliance & Validation: Support validation, qualification, and calibration activities. Follow GMP and GLP protocols rigorously.
- Troubleshooting & Coordination: Resolve analysis delays caused by production changes or instrument breakdowns through coordination with cross-functional teams.
QC Job at Cipla – Key Performance Metrics:
- 3–4 finished product batches released daily
- 3–4 raw material tests conducted
- 10+ stability samples analyzed monthly
- Non-conformance closure within 7 working days
- Maintain non-conformance rate below 1.5%
Key Interactions:
- Daily: Unit Planning, Site QC, Stores
- As Needed: QA, Central Documentation Cell (CDC), Service Engineers
QC Job at Cipla – Desired Skills:
- Firm grasp of pharmaceutical chemistry and analytical techniques
- Familiarity with HPLC, UV, Dissolution, and other lab instruments
- Excellent documentation and observation skills
- Ability to work with precision and follow SOPs diligently
- Proficient in MS Office and lab data systems (e.g., LIMS)
