Bose Institute invites dynamic and qualified researchers for a Research Associate-I role under the ANRF(SERB)-funded project titled “Setting up a State-of-the-Art CryoEM Regional/National Facility in Eastern Region at Bose Institute.”
This initiative aims to transform the landscape of structure-guided drug discovery in India.Essential Qualification:
- Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree
- OR 3 years of research, teaching, design, or development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech
- At least one publication in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal
Desirable Experience:
- Expertise in recombinant DNA technology, protein expression, and purification
- Hands-on experience in UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy
- Proficiency in mammalian/insect cell culture, CryoEM, structural biology, and data analysis
Emoluments: ₹58,000/- per month + 24% HRA
Age Limit: Below 35 years (Relaxation as per government rules)
Note for Candidates Without Ph.D.:
Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. theses in natural/agricultural sciences may also apply. If selected, they may be appointed as Extended SRF with a fellowship of ₹42,000/—+ 24% HRA.
