Name of the Post: Research Associate (RA-1)
Number of posts: One (01)
Fellowship: As per rules of the Institute.
Duration: Initial appointment for six months and may be extended further depending on the performance.
Minimum qualification: PhD degree in Chemistry. Candidates who have submitted the thesis and awaiting award of degree may also apply. Candidate must produce a letter from competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.
Desirable qualifications: Candidates with experience in the computation of band structures, and electron/spin transport in nanostructures and disordered materials will be highly preferred.
The position is purely temporary and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the Institute.
