MSAT- Process Engineer Job Purpose
This position is for a chemical engineer with experience in lab experimentation, modeling, and process simulation. The individual will be responsible for engineering data generation, process simulation, and driving new department initiatives.
MSAT- Process Engineer Job Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to generate process simulation data
- Discuss with different teams to address technical challenges
- Perform engineering calculations for scale-up and equipment selection
- Analyze process safety data
- Develop mathematical models for various unit operations
- Support team lead in department initiatives
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Educational Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech/M.S. Chemical Engineering
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in process simulation and model building
Technical/Functional Skills
- Firm hands-on experimental and theoretical knowledge of chemical engineering
- Perform DynoChem simulations for ongoing projects
- Work on commercial software such as ChemCAD, MATLAB, and COMSOL
- Write and review technical reports
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
