Job Overview
As a Senior Scientist in the API R&D Downstream & Peptides division, you will play a key role in analytical method development, stability testing, and technology transfer activities. This role is essential in ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in pharmaceutical research and development.
Senior Scientist Job At Biocon Description:
- To plan day to day routine and stability analysis on chromatographic instruments, Dissolution apparatus and UV-Visible spectrophotometers.
- To develop and qualify analytical methods to support the formulation product development for assigned projects.
- To maintain and ensure GLP and safety compliance in the laboratory.
- To timely procure & maintain the inventory of regular and specific chemicals, solvents and analytical consumables and requirements.
- To transfer the analytical technology and methods to the manufacturing site for regular release testing at manufacturing site internal/external.
- To work closely with formulation development team and other cross functions, understanding the needs of the project & active participation in technical discussions.
- To ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of analytical activities related to project and other essential assignments in the department.
- To Implement QbD principles and tools to analytical method development.
- To plan timely analysis of stability samples, compiling and tracking the trends of stability results.
- To perform the periodic calibrations, and other regular and general tasks in the department.
- To understand the objectives of the experiments and studies and perform properly to discuss with manager to draw suitable inferences.
- To handle procurement, installation & qualification of analytical instruments and equipment.
