Application Chemist – Fragrances & Beauty
As an Application Chemist, you will be responsible for the preparation of fragrance applications in different bases, meeting the needs of creative and development teams, and studying the stability of fragrance formulations in product bases.

Core Responsibilities (under Stability)
- Prepare product samples, where required
- Organize stability tests and record results
- Study the stability and physical characteristics of fragrance formulations in product bases, through physical and olfactory evaluation
- Under guidance, research causes of issues and propose test solutions and technical changes to formulations
- Communicate stability test results internally and to clients (if needed)
Core Responsibilities (under Application Laboratory)
- Prepare fragrance applications in different bases to meet the needs of creative and development teams under guidance, ensuring quality, precision, and accuracy
- Act as the point of contact in the lab for specific customers/projects
- Administer sample requests and order fragrance oils
- Perform physical-chemical measurements
- Help in updating and revising technical documentation in the department, under guidance
- Prepare internal bases
- Perform color matching and recommend dyes per client requests
- Operate and help maintain standard lab equipment
- Record and communicate results accurately and promptly
- Manage customer base inventories and project submission retained application samples
- Assist in the administration of materials and laboratory organization

Your professional profile includes:
Academic Background
- Degree/Post Graduation qualification in Chemistry/Cosmetics from reputed organizations
Primary Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of lab experience in an application lab and stability-related area
- Understanding of laboratory techniques as applied to perfumery
- Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Fluent English
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of good laboratory practice and safe handling of chemicals
- Technical knowledge of fragrances, relevant fragrance product categories, formulation, and application
- Olfactory ability
- Basic Chemistry knowledge
