An offline interview is scheduled on 27th December 2022 at Central University of Jharkhand, Brambe Campus for selection of 01 (one) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant-1 (PA) in the Department of Chemistry, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi in a SERB sponsored research project
Project Title: “Total Synthesis of Illudalane Class of Natural Products Possessing Antifungal, Antibacterial and Cytotoxic Properties” under the Principal Investigator, Dr. Raj Bahadur Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry. Details of the position
and other requirements are as follows:
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Elibgility Criteria: M. Sc. in Chemistry with 55% aggregates marks and above from recognized university with NET/GATE qualified in relevant subject.
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- first 2 years and
Rs.35,000/- per month for 3rd year.
Desirable Working ability in Synthetic Organic Chemistry
Age The upper age limit of JRF/PA-1 is 28 years as on the day of interview. The upper age
limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH
candidates.
Nature of the post The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project

Job Title: Project Associate
Elibgility Criteria: M. Sc. in Chemistry with 55% aggregates marks and above from
recognized university
Salary: Rs. 25,000/- month for first 2 years and Rs.28,000/- per month for 3rd year.

Interested candidates may appear before the interview board, subject to submission of self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, certificate of NET, any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) to be verified

Notes:
(1) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
(2) Only one position is available either JRF or Project Associate-I (PA-1) as per the criteria of project.
